Subject: Highly sensitive? I’ve got a podcast for you! 🎧
I’ve been having a hard time the past few weeks.
Between buying a house, moving, making big changes at my therapy center, and creating a new offering for you, my highly sensitive nervous system is fried.
I’m taking some time to rest and reflect this week, and I’m reminded of how much it can suck to be an ambitious Highly Sensitive Person. We have so many great ideas and so little energy to bring them to life!
It’s easy to get sucked into compare-and-despair when we see how much our non-sensitive colleagues can handle.
It’s easy to deprive ourselves of rest and relaxation when our to-do list is growing by the second.
It’s easy to feel deflated, slowly descending into a dark pit of fatigue-induced hopelessness.
Well, I’m here today to lovingly say to you (*ahem* to myself)…
Being Highly Sensitive is not a curse. It doesn’t make you weak or less capable. In fact, when I’m taking good care of myself, I can see all of the ways my sensitivity is a profound strength.
Today felt like the perfect day to share my podcast interview on Mountain Practice Journeys with Cindy Norton, fellow ambitious introverted Highly Sensitive Person.
Cindy and I chatted about our personal experiences as sensitive entrepreneurs and shared a few tips we have for other ambitious + sleepy business owners, including…
→ How to make your business work for you without feeling guilty or inferior
→ The power of leveraging your introverted and sensitive personality traits
→ My #1 tip that’ll help you reach your biggest goals without burning out
Click here to listen if you’re a fellow sensitive soul who needs to be reminded that you are capable of tremendous success.
In the meantime, I’m going to close my computer and recharge my batteries so I can get back to being my most grounded and creative sensitive self.
See ya on the flip side,
Maegan
